Hulu has renewed its original drama series Shut Eye starring Jeffrey Donovan for a second season. The new season will consist of 10 episodes. Moreover, John Shiban has been tapped to replace David Hudgins as showrunner.
Set in the underground world of Los Angeles storefront psychics and the organized crime syndicate that runs them, Shut Eye revolves around a disgruntled player who finds his cynical worldview challenged when he starts to experience visions that may or may not be real.
In addition to Donovan, the drama stars KaDee Strickland, Emmanuelle Chriqui, David Zayas, Angus Sampson, Susan Misner and Isabella Rossellini.
Les Bohem created the drama. He executive produces with Shiban, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein. TriStar Television and Gran Via Productions produce.
