One day after debuting its Season 5 finale, Hulu has renewed its comedy series The Mindy Project created by and starring Mindy Kaling for a sixth and final season. The new season will debut in Fall 2017, but an exact episode count wasn't immediately released.
In its fifth season, the comedy starred Mindy Kaling, Ed Weeks, Ike Barinholtz, Beth Grant, Xosha Roquemore and Fortune Feimster. Recurring guest stars include Garret Dillahunt, Bryan Greenberg and Rebecca Rittenhouse.
Kaling executive produces with Matt Warburton, Howard Klein, Jack Burditt, Charlie Grandy and Michael Spiller. Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Kaling International produce.
