Amazon has renewed its original drama series Patriot for a second season, it was announced today. The new season will include 10 episodes, which will debut in 2018.
The series follows intelligence officer John Tavner, who - to prevent Iran from going nuclear - must forgo all safety nets and assume a perilous non-official cover - that of a mid-level employee at a Midwestern industrial piping firm.
The drama stars Michael Dorman, Terry O'Quinn, Kurtwood Smith, Michael Chernus, Kathleen Munroe, Aliette Opheim and Chris Conrad.
Steve Conrad created the series. He executive produces with Glenn Ficarra, John Requa, Gil Bellows and Charlie Gogolak. Amazon Studios produces.
