The CW's Riverdale; Paramount's Waco; and TV Land's Younger.
PARAMOUNT's WACO
- Camryn Manheim, Eric Lange, Annika Marks, Steven Culp and Sarah Minnich have been cast on the upcoming limited series starring Taylor Kitsch and Michael Shannon. Manheim will play Balenda Thibodeau, the mother of David Thibodeau (Rory Culkin), one of David Koresh's (Kitsch) followers within the compound. Lange will play Ron Engelman, a local radio shock-jock. Marks will play Kathy Schroder, one of Koresh's loyal followers. Culp will play FBI Agent Jeff Jamar, who served as the siege commander during Waco. Minnich will play Sharon Wheeler, spokeswoman for the ATF.
THE CW's RIVERDALE
- Pitch star Mark Consuelos has landed a series regular role on the drama's upcoming second season. He will play Hiram Lodge, a ruthless, handsome and charismatic businessman who is coming back to Riverdale after weathering a financial scandal that almost destroyed him. He is there to reconnect with his wife, Hermione (Marisol Nichols) and daughter, Veronica (Camila Mendes), who is the apple of his eye. However, his casting is officially in second position to FOX's Pitch, which seems unlikely to be renewed for a second season but it's still a possibility.
TV LAND's YOUNGER
- Aasif Mandvi (A Series of Unfortunate Events) has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming fourth season. He will play Jay Mallick, an attractive 40-something editor with a great sense of humor whom Liza (Sutton Foster) meets at a conference and who approaches her to run her own millennial-focused imprint.
