FXX Cancels 'Man Seeking Woman' After 3 Seasons

FXX has cancelled its original comedy series Man Seeking Woman starring Jay Baruchel after three seasons, it was announced today. The comedy wrapped its run on March 8, 2017.






The comedy centered on a naive 20-something, Josh (Baruchel), who found himself in several surreal and awkward circumstances while trying to find love. The series concluded with Josh and Lucy (Katie Findlay) getting married, which provided the viewers with a satisfying ending.

Eric André and Britt Lower also starred.

Simon Rich created the series. He executive produced with Lorne Michaels, Jonathan Krisel, Andrew Singer and Ian Maxtone-Graham. FX Productions and Broadway Video produced.

The comedy was a hit amongst critics but wasn't a huge performer in the ratings. The final season averaged 367,000 total viewers when factoring in seven days of delayed viewing.
