A few weeks after dropping the third season, Netflix has renewed its original comedy series Grace and Frankie starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin for a fourth season. The new season will include 13 episodes and debut in 2018.
In addition to Fonda and Tomlin, the comedy also stars Martin Sheen, Sam Waterston, Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, June Diane Raphael Baron Vaughn.
Moreover, it's been announced today that Emmy winner Lisa Kudrow will recur in the fourth season. She will play Sheree, Grace's (Fonda) longtime manicurist whose newfound friendship with Grace irks Frankie (Tomlin) and threatens to drive a wedge between the two. Her casting marks a key Friends reunion with her and series creator Marta Kauffman.
Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris created the comedy. They executive produce with Fonda, Tomlin, Paula Weinstein, Dana Goldberg, David Ellison, Marcy Ross and Alexa Junge. Skydance Television and Okay Goodnight produce.
