ABC has renewed its original drama series Quantico for a third season, it was announced this evening. However, the network has only ordered 13 episodes for the new season.
The drama stars Priyanka Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Russell Tovey, Pearl Thusi and Blair Underwood.
Joshua Safron created the drama. However, he is stepping down as showrunner after two seasons. A search is underway for his replacement. Executive producers are Mark Gordon, Robert Sertner and Nicholas Pepper. ABC Studios and The Mark Gordon Company produce.
In its second season, the drama is averaging a 1.5 rating in the key Adults 18-49 demographic and 5 million total viewers, in Live+7 numbers.
