AUDIENCE's HIT THE ROAD
- Amy Pietz, Natalie Sharp, Nick Marini, Tim Johnson Jr. and Maddie Dixon-Poirer have been cast on the upcoming comedy starring Jason Alexander. Pietz will play Maggie, the bohemian and orthodox mom. Sharp will play Ria, the supremely talented diva who has her sights set on stardom. Marini will play Sam, the impulsive and endearing son who aims to please. Johnson will play Jermaine, the smart and slightly neurotic adopted son who seeks stability more than anything else. Dixon-Poirier will play Casey, the youngest child and the moral compass of the family.
CRACKLE's THE OATH
- Arlen Escarpeta (The Magicians, Whitney) will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Sean Bean. He will play Damon Byrd, an undercover FBI agent trying to find his footing.
FX's TRUST
- Michael Esper (Shades of Blue) and Veronica Echegui (Fortitude) have joined the cast of the upcoming anthology starring Donald Sutherland and Hilary Swank. Esper will play John Paul Getty II, father to John Paul Getty III (Harris Dickinson) and son to J. Paul Getty (Sutherland). "Big Paul" is a recovering heroin addict and recluse, who finds himself in a fog of grief following the death of his second wife. Echegui will recur as Luciana, the youngest member of J. Paul Getty's harem and also the most highly strung.
NETFLIX's LOVE
- Kathy Baker (Picket Fences) and Kyle Bornheimer (Casual) have booked recurring roles on the comedy's upcoming third season. Baker will play Vicki, Gus' (Paul Rust) mother. Bornheimer will play Ken, Gus' older brother.
NBC's TAKEN
- The drama is planning a major creative overhaul for its upcoming second season. As such, it's been announced today that Gaius Charles, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Michael Irby, Jose Pablo Cantillo and James Landry Hébert will not be returning as series regulars. That leaves Clive Standen and Jennifer Beals as the only two cast regulars returning.
