Netflix has cancelled its original comedy series Girlboss after one season, it was announced today. The 13-episode first season debuted on April 21, 2017.
Girlboss centered on Sophia, a rebellious, broke anarchist who stumbles upon her passion of selling vintage clothes online and becomes an unlikely businesswoman.
The comedy starred Britt Robertson, Ellie Reed, Johnny Simmons and Alphonso McAuley.
Kay Cannon developed the series based on the novel #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso. She executive produced with Charlize Theron, Laverne McKinnon, Beth Kono, Christian Ditter, Kristen Zolner, Brittney Segal and Jane Wiseman. Denver & Delilah Productions produced.
