THE CW's WAYWARD SISTERS
- Briana Buckmaster, Kathryn Newton and Katherine Ramdeen are set to reprise their Supernatural roles on the proposed spinoff. Also cast on the project today is Clark Backo. Buckmaster plays Sheriff Donna Hanscum, a relative novice to the hunter's life, but a close friend who Jody (Kim Rhodes) can confide in. Newton plays Claire Novak, an orphan and gifted hunter who lives with Jody but struggles against her rules. Ramdeen plays Alex Jones, a runaway traumatized by a family of vampires who has resolved not to hunt - until a threat emerges that threatens her new family. Backo will play Patience Turner, a new member of the Wayward Sisterhood. A high school over-achiever, her life is turned upside down when she discovers she's a powerful psychic, a gift she inherited from her estranged grandmother. Hunted by dark forces for her power, she finds refuge with Jody and her family.
