Amazon has today announced a premiere date for the second season of its original comedy series One Mississippi created by and starring Tig Notaro.
The entire second season will be released on the streaming service on Friday, September 8.
The second season picks up with Tig, her stepfather and her brother living together again in the family home in Mississippi, with each facing new beginnings, new relationships and family boundaries. Tig resumes her radio career in Biloxi with producer Kate by her side, though her outspoken point of view proves controversial for the local market.
The cast includes Tig Notaro, Noah Harpster, John Rothman, Stephanie Allynne, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Carly Jibson.
Notaro co-created the series with Diablo Cody. They executive produce with Kate Robin, Louis C.K. M. Blair Breard and Dave Becky. Amazon Studios, FX Productions and Pig Newton produce.
