- NOW & THEN (Single Camera Comedy) - Written by Shawn Wines. Executive produced by Wines, Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor. Produced by Kapital Entertainment. Logline: A group of old college friends who, having lost touch over the years, are brought back together unexpectedly for one wild night only to be given a new lease on life and friendship. Reuniting as friends gives them the opportunity to discover who they always promised each other they would be.
TNT's DEADLIER THAN THE MALE
- The Leftovers star Amy Brenneman has been cast in a lead role on the drama pilot written by Harriet Warner. Ashley Madekwe (Salem) has also been cast today. Brenneman will play Mary, who has become a professional grieving mother after years of searching for her missing daughter. On one hand, her loss has made her a passionate advocate for vulnerable women. But one the other, the tragedy has given her new power and polish - as well as a ruthless streak that makes her a threat to anyone who stands in her way. Madekwe will play Lisa, Pete's (Enrique Murciano) younger wife. He was her therapist at one point, but Lisa found the shift from patient to partner marginalizing. When she starts to suspect Pete of having an affair, her own demons of distrust and paranoia begin to resurface.
