During its presentation at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour, FX renewed its original drama series Snowfall for a second season. The new season will debut in 2018.
The drama stars Damson Idris, Carter Hudson, Emily Rios, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Michael Hyatt, Amin Joseph, Angela Lewis, Juan Javier Cardenas, Isaiah John, Filipe Valle Costa, Alon Aboutboul and Malcolm Mays.
John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron created the drama. They executive produce with Thomas Schlamme, Michael London and Trevor Engelson. FX Productions, Underground Films, Groundswell Productions, New Deal Entertainment, Dave & Ron Productions and Shoe Money Productions produce.
According to FX, the first season of Snowfall is currently averaging 5 million viewers across all platforms.
