AMC's HUMANS
- Mark Bonnar (Catastrophe, Apple Tree Yard) has been cast as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming third season. He will play Neil Sommer, an intriguingly charming scientist on a government commission with whom Laura (Katherine Parkinson) develops a strong personal connection.
AMAZON's CARNIVAL ROW
- David Gyasi (Interstellar), Karla Crome (Under the Dome), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones) and Tamzin Merchant (Salem) have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne. Gyasi will play Agreus, a mysteriously wealthy faun who moves into an affluent human neighborhood in defiance of the social order. Crome will play Tourmaline, a quick-witted faerie love poet driven from her war-torn homeland and forced to work in a brothel. Varma will play Piety Breakspear, the regal and cunning matriarch of the powerful family that rules the city of the Burgue. Merchant will play Imogen Spurnrose, a young woman who sees in Agreus an opportunity to turn her aristocratic family's fading fortunes around.
AMAZON's GOOD OMENS
- Sam Taylor Buck, Amma Ris, Ilan Galkoff, Alfie Taylor, Daniel Mays and Sian Brooke have been added to the cast of the upcoming drama starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant. No details were immediately released about the characters they will be playing.
CBS' BULL
- The Good Wife alum Archie Panjabi will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's second season. She will play Arti Cander, a brilliant and resourceful British trial scientist with no shortage of charm. She's a successful former D.C. lobbyist who's more than a worthy adversary for Bull (Michael Weatherly).
SYFY's HAPPY!
- Debi Mazar (Younger) and Michael Maize (Mr. Robot) have landed recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Christopher Meloni. Mazar will play Isabella Scaramucci, a calculating, dripping-in-Dolce mother who is dead-set on exacting revenge. Maize will play Le Dic, a terrifying arms dealer with a cutting sense of humor.
THE CW's ARROWVERSE CROSSOVER
- Russell Tovey (Quantico, Looking) is set to play gay superhero The Ray in the upcoming four-part Arrow-verse crossover, airing on November 27 and 28. He will also voice the character in CW Seed's upcoming animated series Freedom Fighters: The Ray. Here's the character description: Raymond "Ray" Terrill was a reporter who discovered a group of government scientists working on a secret project to turn light into a weapon of mass destruction. But before he could report on his findings, the project head exposed Ray to a "genetic light bomb." The bomb failed to kill him and instead gifted Ray with light-based powers. With these abilities, Ray realized he could go beyond reporting on injustice - he could take action to help stop it. Calling himself The Ray, he was recruited by Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters to fight violence and oppression wherever it exists.
