- The premium cable network has officially passed on the drama pilot written and directed by K'naan Warsame. Executive producers also included Kathryn Bigelow and Carolyn Strauss. The project was a family drama that grapples with what it means to be American among the Somalis of Minneapolis. The cast include Ezana Alem, Hanad Abdirahman Abdi, Selam Tadese, Rif Hutton, Prince Abdi, Yusra Warsama, K.C. Collins, Liya Kebede, Thea Sofie Loch Næss and Elvis Nolasco.
