Freeform has today announced premiere dates for its upcoming original comedy series Grown-ish and Alone Together.
Grown-ish will make its series debut on Wednesday, January 3 at 8/7c. with a special one-hour episode.
A spinoff of ABC's Black-ish, the comedy tackles current social issues and complexities facing both students and administrators. It features Zoey, Dre and Rainbow's popular, entitled, stylish and socially active 18-year-old daughter as she heads into her freshman year of college.
The cast includes Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson, Jordan Buhat, Emily Arlook, Francia Raisa, Chris Parnell and Deon Cole.
Kenya Barris created the comedy. He executive produces with Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland and E. Brian Dobbins. ABC Signature produces.
The first season of Alone Together will launch on Wednesday, January 10 at 8:30/7:30c. Furthermore, the network announced today that it has renewed the comedy for a 10-episode second season.
