CBS All Access has today announced the cast as well as the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series No Activity based on the Australian series of the same name.
Set against the world of a drug cartel bust, two low-level cops have spent too much time in a car together, two criminals are kept in the dark, two dispatch workers haven't clicked, and two Mexican tunnelers are in too small a space considering they've only just met.
Tim Meadows will play the lead role opposite series co-creator Patrick Brammall. They will be joined by guest stars Mark Berry, Arturo Castro, Mackenzie Davis, Bridget Everett, Will Ferrell, Darren Gilshenan, Travis Guba, Jake Johnson, Sunita Mani, Jason Mantzoukas, Adrian Martinez, Jesse Plemons, Fred Pohl, Alex Rodriguez, Amy Sedaris, J.K. Simmons, Courtenay Taylor, Michaela Watkins and Daniel Zolghadri.
The comedy is set to debut on Sunday, November 12 - the same night as the final episode of Star Trek: Discovery's fall run is released. New episodes of No Activity will be available weekly on Sundays.
Trent O'Donnell and Patrick Brammall created the comedy, with O'Donnell also set to direct the entire first season. They executive produce with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Jason Burrows and Joe Farrell.
