In a competitive situation with multiple streaming outlets bidding, CBS All Access has handed out a straight-to-series order to original drama series Tell Me a Story created by Kevin Williamson (Scream, The Following).
Based on a Spanish format, the drama takes the world's most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Set in modern day New York City, the first season interweaves "The Three Little Pigs," "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Jack and the Beanstalk" into an epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge and murder.
Williamson created the drama. He executive produces with Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor. CBS Television Studios and Kapital Entertainment produces.
