Hulu has opted to cancel its original comedy series Difficult People after three seasons, it was announced today. The series aired its final episode on September 26, 2017.
The comedy starred Julie Klausner, Billy Eichner, James Urbaniak, Andrea Martin, Cole Escola and Shakina Nayfack.
Julie Klausner created the comedy. She executive produced with Amy Poehler, Dave Becky, Tony Hernandez and Scott King. Universal Cable Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment, Jax Media and Paper Kite Productions produced.
The cancellation comes as the streaming service dropped the series finale of The Mindy Project today while renewed Casual for an abbreviated fourth and final season for next year. Of course, it also comes as the streamer dropped the entire first season of action comedy Future Man today with period comedy There's... Johnny! and Marvel drama Runaways debuting within the next week.
