CMT has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming sixth season of its original drama series Nashville.
The sixth season will premiere on Thursday, January 4. It is the second season to air on CMT, following four on ABC.
The drama stars Hayden Panettiere, Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio, Maisy Stella, Lennon Stella, Cameron Scoggins and Kaitlin Doubleday.
Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick return for their second season as showrunners. They executive produce with Steve Buchanan and Callie Khouri. ABC Studios, Lionsgate Television, Opry Entertainment and The Bedford Falls Company produce.
