- Gina Gershon, Laura Dale, Camrus Johnson, DJ Blickenstaff and Matt Long have been cast on the drama pilot starring Willa Fitzgerald. Gershon will play Celia Avery, the editor-in-chief of VIE Magazine and Anya's (Fitzgerald) boss. Dale will play Sarah Taft, an associate editor at the magazine and Anya's frenemy. Johnson will play Randy, Anya's neighbor whose friendly gestures throw her for a loop. Blickenstaff will play Fred, an associate editor at the magazine and one of Anya's best friends. Long will play Detective Stephen Hopper, who meets Anya during his investigation into the murder of a young woman. Moreover, André Leon Talley has been cast in a guest role. He will play Baptisto, a forgotten legend of the fashion industry.
