Facebook Watch has given a series order to an untitled half-hour original drama series starring Elizabeth Olsen (the Avengers franchise, Wind River). The first season will include 10 episodes.
The exact premise for the show has yet to be confirmed. However, it's being said that Olsen is playing a young widow dealing with grief while reconnecting with relationships from her past.
Kit Steinkellner created the series, with Switched at Birth creator Lizzy Weiss set as showrunner. James Ponsoldt will direct multiple episodes, including the premiere. All three executive produce with Olsen, Robin Schwartz, Marc Turtletaub, Peter Saraf, Cynthia Pett, Brad Petrigala and Jon Liebman. Big Beach TV and Brillstein Entertainment Partners produce.
