The CW has already given early renewals to the bulk of its primetime lineup for the 2018-19 schedule. And now, the broadcast network has renewed its original drama series The 100 for a sixth season.The fifth season of the drama stars Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Christopher Larkin, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles, Isaiah Washington and Henry Ian Cusick.
Jason Rothenberg created the drama. He executive produces with Leslie Morgenstein, Matt Miller, Gina Girolamo, Bharat Nalluri and Elizabeth Craft. Warner Bros. Television, CBS Television Studios and Alloy Entertainment produce.
The renewal comes just two episodes into the drama's current fifth season. It also coincides with The CW's plan to expand its original programming to Sunday nights for the upcoming season.
