HBO Gives Series Order to Drama 'Euphoria' Starring Zendaya

HBO has today given a series order to the original drama series Euphoria starring Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming). The first season will produce ten episodes.






The drama follows a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship.

In addition to Zendaya, the drama stars Maude Apatow, Brian "Astro" Bradley, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer and Sydney Sweeney.

Sam Levinson will wrote all episodes of the first season. He executive produces with Drake, Future the Prince, Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokadi and Gary Lennon. Augustine Frizzell directed the pilot and will serve as a co-executive producer. A24 produces.
