Adam Brody Joins Sky's Upcoming Drama 'Curfew'; Charter Lands U.S. Rights

The O.C. and StartUp star Adam Brody has joined the cast of Sky's upcoming original drama series Curfew. Moreover, Charter Communications has stuck a deal for the U.S. rights to air the drama via its Spectrum Originals in 2019.

The drama follows ordinary people competing in the world's fastest, most furious, illegal night-time street race. Contestants race through the night from London to Scotland in their "pimped-out" vehicles to win the ultimate prize - freedom from the totalitarian government curfew that controls their lives.

Brody will play Max Larssen, a mysterious megalomanic millionaire.

The drama also stars Billy Zane, Miranda Richardson, Harriet Walter, Michael Biehn, Malachi Kirby, Adrian Lester, Phoebe Fox, Robert Glenister, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rose Williams, Elijah Rowen, Guz Khan and Sean Bean.

Matthew Read created the drama. He executive produces with Will Gould and Frith Tiplady. Tiger Aspect Productions and Moonage Pictures produce.
