After previously being ordered to pilot, HBO has today given a series order to the original comedy series Mrs. Fletcher starring Kathryn Hahn. An episode count and premiere window were not immediately announced.
Based on the book by Tom Perrotta, the comedy is a coming-of-age story that explores the impact of internet porn and social media on the lives of an empty-nest mother (Hahn) and her college freshman son (Jackson White).
The cast also includes Casey Wilson, Owen Teague and Jen Richards.
Perrotta wrote the pilot, which was directed by Nicole Holofcener. They executive produce with Sarah Condon and Jessi Klein.
