NETFLIX's THE WITCHER
- Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra, Jodhi May, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson, Adam Levy, MyAnna Buring, Mimi Ndiweni, Therica Wilson-Read and Millie Brady have been cast on the upcoming drama starring Henry Cavill.
- Allan (Into the Badlands) will play Ciri, the young princess of Cintra, one of the kingdoms at the center of the story.
- Chalotra will play Yennefer, a sorceress and Geralt of Rivia's (Cavill) main love interest. She is also a mother figure to Ciri.
- May (Game of Thrones) will play Queen Calanthe.
- Haraldsson (Fortitude) will play her husband, the knight Eist.
- Levy (Knightfall) will play Mousesack, a druid.
- Buring (Ripper Street) will play Tissaia, the head of the magical academy at Aretuza.
- Ndiweni (Black Earth Rising) and Wilson-Read (Profile) will play Fringilla and Sabrina, novice sorcerers.
- Brady (The Last Kingdom) will play Princess Renfri, an outcast.
HBO's LOVECRAFT COUNTRY
- Michael Kenneth Williams has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Jonathan Majors and Jurnee Smollett-Bell. He starred for three seasons in HBO's The Wire, five seasons in HBO's Boardwalk Empire and three seasons in SundanceTV's Hap and Leonard. He received Emmy nominations for his supporting performances in HBO's Bessie and HBO's The Night Of. He next stars in the Netflix miniseries Central Park Five.
- He will play Atticus' (Majors) father. Hard headed and secretive, he's always believed you can't live in a fantasy world, which is why he despises his son's pulp novels. Most of the books on his shelf are nonfiction, history and political theory. The guys at the local bar call him a communist, but today we'd just call him conscious.
ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY
- Josh Radnor will appear in the drama's fifteenth season - starting with this Thursday's new episode. He previously starred for nine seasons in CBS' How I Met Your Mother and one season in NBC's Rise.
- He will play a blind date for Meredith (Ellen Pompeo).
EPIX's BERLIN STATION
- James Cromwell has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. He won an Emmy Award for his performance in FX's American Horror Story: Asylum. He was nominated for an Academy Award in 1995 for the film Babe.
- He will play Gilbert Dorn, a former CIA legend put out to pasture who appears on a podcast revealing information about past missions.
