NETFLIX's OCTOBER FACTION
- Tamara Taylor, J.C. MacKenzie, Aurora Burghart, Gabriel Darku, Wendy Crewson, Megan Follows and Stephen McHattie will star in the upcoming drama created by Damian Kindler.
- Taylor (Bones) and MacKenzie (Molly's Game) will play Deloris and Fred Allen, a married couple who also work together as monster hunters. When they return to their upstate New York hometown after the death of Fred's father, they have to keep their hunting activity a secret while discovering the town isn't as peaceful as it seems.
- Burghart and Darku will play Viv and Geoff, the Allen children.
- No details were released about the characters Crewson, Follows and McHattie will be playing. However, Follows is also set to direct an episode of the first season.
BET's BOOMERANG
- RJ Walker and Paula Newsome have booked recurring roles on the upcoming reboot of the feature film starring Tequan Richmond and Tetona Jackson. Walker previously recurred on FX's Atlanta. Newsome had a major recurring role on HBO's Barry.
- Walker will play David Wright, a Wall Street guy turned preacher with a strong moral compass. Fastidious about his looks, he feels well beyond his 26 years.
- Newsome will play Victoria Johnson, the Creative Director of The Graham Agency, and Bryson (Richmond) and Simone's (Jackson) boss. Set in her ways, mainly because they've worked so well for her in the past, she's tough on the younger associates, in spite of their family connections to the agency.
AMC's NOS4A2
- Rarmian Newton and Darby Camp have landed recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Zachary Quinto and Ashleigh Cummings. Newton starred in NBC's one-season drama Rise. Camp stars in HBO's Big Little Lies.
- Newton will play Drew, Vic's (Cummings) prep-school friend with a hidden sensitive side. He is inspired by Vic and rebels against his parents to pursue art school.
- Camp will play Haley Smith, a tough kid with an adventurous spirit and a good sense of humor. She's brave for a 10-year-old but sometimes too confident for her own good. She wants to be an artist just like Vic, her teenage neighbor and pseudo big sister.
SHOWTIME's UNTITLED ROGER AILES LIMITED SERIES
- Seth MacFarlane, Sienna Miller, Simon McBurney and Annabelle Wallis have joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Russell Crowe and Naomi Watts.
- MacFarlane (Family Guy, The Orville) will play Brian Lewis, the head of public relations at Fox News and a Roger Ailes (Crowe) confidant who was fired in 2013 for breach of contract.
- Miller (Live by Night) will play Beth, Ailes' wife who raised their son Zachary and edited a small newspaper in Garrison, New York while Ailes built Fox News. She was a steadfast defender of her husband until his death in 2017 and still refutes charges of wrongdoing against him.
- McBurney (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) will play Rupert Murdoch, the media mogul who hired Ailes to run Fox News.
- Wallis (Peaky Blinders) will play Laurie Luhn, a one-time volunteer who became head of booking at Fox News under Ailes' mentorship - but also became involved in an abusive relationship with him.
BET's AMERICAN SOUL
- Shannon Kane and Perri Camper are set for recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Sinqua Walls. Kane has previously recurred on The CW's The Originals and CBS' Code Black. Camper starred in the BET digital series The Last One.
- Kane will play Ilsa Dejarnette, a beautiful, whip-smart, self-made entrepreneur. She is the lead attorney for Barry Gordy's Motown Records at the height of his power. Although not born in affluence, she is impeccably polished having attended the world's best finishing school and Ivy League institutions.
- Camper will play Delores Cornelius, the wife of Don Cornelius (Walls), the gel of the Cornelius family. While Don is in Los Angeles, she holds down the fort back home in Chicago. Though loyal to Don, there's no denying the strain the new show puts on their relationship and their family.
