NETFLIX's WU ASSASSINS
- Lawrence Kao and Celia Au have been cast as series regulars on the upcoming drama starring Iko Uwais and Katheryn Winnick. Kao has previously recurred on AMC's The Walking Dead, The CW's The Originals and FOX's Sleepy Hollow. Au has had recurring roles on AMC's Lodge 49 and FOX's Gotham.
- Kao will play Tommy Wah, a drug addict in search of redemption as he is passed over by his parents in favor of his younger sister who runs the family business.
- Au will play Ying Ying, a quirky, young woman who is wise beyond her years and assists Kai Jin (Uwais) in his mission.
IFC's BROCKMIRE
- Martha Plimpton has landed a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. She starred for four seasons in FOX's Raising Hope and two seasons in ABC's The Real O'Neals. She has also recurred on TV Land's Younger, NBC's The Blacklist and CBS' The Good Wife (where she won an Emmy for Guest Actress in a Drama Series).
- She will play Shirley, Brockmire's (Hank Azaria) newest sponsor. She is a cigarette-smoking, no-nonsense woman who has been 8 years sober. She's seen every excuse in the book and finds Brockmire's attempts at explaining his bad behavior hilarious. She's about to show him the harsh realities of sobriety, the ones they don't teach you in meetings.
DISNEY STREAMING's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL
- Joshua Bassett will play the male lead on the upcoming drama set to air on Disney's forthcoming streaming service. He has previously had recurring roles on Disney's Stuck in the Middle and Bravo's Dirty John.
- He will play Ricky, a cynical but charming high school junior who launches a bold plan to win back his ex-girlfriend Nini - by auditioning to star opposite her in the school's production of High School Musical.
