Casting News - October 9, 2018

ABC's Station 19; Charter's L.A.'s Finest; and FOX's Proven Innocent.

ABC's STATION 19
  • Boris Kodjoe has been promoted to series regular on the drama's second season. He was cast in a major recurring role in the new season and made his debut in last week's season premiere. He previously starred for two seasons in CBS' Code Black and recurred on FOX's The Last Man on Earth.
  • He plays Captain Robert Sullivan, a no-nonsense leader who was just promoted to captain of Station 19.
CHARTER's L.A.'S FINEST
  • David Fumero and Jordan Rodrigues have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. Fumero starred for three seasons in Starz's Power. Rodrigues stars in Hulu's upcoming drama Light as a Feather.
  • Fumero will play Jason Calloway, an LAPD lieutenant with the Narcotics Division. He and Syd (Union) had a one-night stand that colors their occasionally adversarial relationship around the office. A good cop and a total pro; not above arresting any cop who crosses the line.
  • Rodrigues will play Arlo, a menacing figure who always appears cool, calm and collected.
FOX's PROVEN INNOCENT
  • Tiffany Dupont and Catherine Lidstone have booked recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Rachelle Lefevre and Kelsey Grammer. Dupont starred for two seasons in ABC Family's Greek. Lidstone's guest credits include Showtime's Weeds and ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.
  • Dupont will play Nikki Russo, a badass policewoman who knows how to protect herself. She has a tumultuous relationship with Bodie (Vincent Kartheiser).
  • Lidstone will play Isabel Sanchez, a recent law school graduate who is smart, fresh-faced, driven and eager. She hopes to make a career in criminal law and maybe politics too.
