Netflix has today renewed its original comedy series The Ranch for a fourth season. The renewal is for another 20-episode season which will be split into two halves.
Ashton Kutcher, Sam Elliott and Elisha Cuthbert will continue to star in the comedy. They will likely be joined in the new episodes by Debra Winger and Dax Shepard.
Original series star Danny Masterson was fired from the comedy halfway through its third season in December 2017 following sexual assault allegations. Shepard was brought onboard to help fill the void as a recurring guest star. Netflix has not yet set a premiere date for the second half of the third season.
Don Reo and Jim Patterson created the comedy. They executive produce with Kutcher, Jane Wiseman, Blair Fetter, Andy Weil and Jerry Anglin. Ranch Hand Productions produces in association with Netflix.
