Freeform has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of the original comedy series Grown-ish.
The Black-ish spinoff will return for its 20-episode second season on Wednesday, January 2 at 8/7c. with back-to-back episodes.
After surviving freshman year, the new season will follow Zoey and her friends as they take on sophomore year at CalU with a renewed sense of confidence. In fact, they might be a bit too confident, thinking that they know exactly what to expect.
The comedy stars Yara Shahidi, Deon Cole, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat and Chris Parnell.
Kenya Barris and Larry Wilmore created the comedy. They executive produce with Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, Julie Bean, Paul Young, Peter Principato and Tom Russo.
