TV Land has confirmed today that the current third season of the original comedy series Teachers will be its final season. Furthermore, the cable channel announced the premiere date for the final 10 episodes.
The remaining 10 episodes of the third season will begin airing on Tuesday, January 15 at 10/9c.
The comedy stars Caitlin Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert, Katie O'Brien and Kathryn Renée Thomas.
The Katydids also created the comedy. They executive produce with Alison Brie, Ian Roberts, Jay Martel, Matt Miller, Matt Abramson, David Brixton, Alex Fendrich, PJ Fishwick and Jill Cargerman. TV Land Original Productions and Martel & Roberts Productions produce.
Today's news means that TV Land will no longer have any ongoing original scripted series. However, the network has not made any official comment on whether or not this is indicative of their programming priorities moving forward.
