Netflix's Chambers, The I-Land, Spinning Out & What/If; and Showtime's The Affair.
NETFLIX's CHAMBERS
- Sivan Alyra Rose, Lilliya Reid, Nicholas Galitzine, Kyanna Simone Simpson, Lilli Kay, Sarah Mezzanotte and Griffin Powell-Arcand have been cast on the upcoming drama starring Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn.
- Rose (The Entrada) will play Sasha Yazzi, a 17-year-old whose world is as big as what's in front of her. But an untimely heart attack and subsequent complications from her donor set her life on a path riddled with sinister twists. What starts out as a mission to understand the mystery surrounding her heart donor's death becomes a quest to understand her true identity and the darkness growing inside her.
- Reid (Vienna and the Fantomes) will play Becky Lefevre, a suburban prom queen whose perfect veneer hides a much more complicated truth. After she dies in a tragic accident, her heart saves Sasha's life - before creating many complications.
- Galitzine (Share) will play Elliott Lefevre, a charming, nihilistic rich kid hell-bent on throwing it all away. Newly sober and still privately reeling from his twin sister Becky's death, he is determined to move on with his life and keep his past behind him. Until he meets Sasha.
- Simpson (Black Lightning) will play Yvonne, Sasha's best friend. Growing up in the same low income housing development, she lives at home with two younger brothers, her father and her terminally ill mother.
- Kay (Paterno) will play Penelope, Becky's highly unusual childhood best friend. Although their friendship fell apart, she has never fully let Becky go - her obsession growing even deeper after her death, and transferring onto Sasha.
- Mezzanotte (Blue Bloods) will play Marnie, a popular perfectionist who is happy to be the best at everything now that Becky's gone. She keeps a close eye on Sasha, but her motives are put into question when it's revealed her parents are the head of a New Age organization with questionable ideals.
- Powell-Arcand (Mixed Blessings) will play TJ, Sasha's boyfriend. A track star who gets bussed in from the reservation, he's the pride of Cottonwood High. He's good inside and street-smart, but most importantly, he loves Sasha. He is her rock. When Sasha starts to worry that there's something's wrong with her new heart, he struggles to keep the closeness they once had while at the same school.
NETFLIX's WHAT/IF
- Daniella Pineda will co-star on the upcoming anthology series starring Renée Zellweger. She has starred for three seasons in TBS' The Detour and one season in The CW's The Originals. She also appeared in the film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
- She will play Cassidy, an analytical, conscientious and work-obsessed employee of Bioprint since its inception. As the CFO, she's the left brain to Lisa's (Jane Levy) right brain. She is the kind of woman who does the right thing, even when no one's looking - a quality that will come to haunt her when she is set up to take a big fall.
NETFLIX's SPINNING OUT
- Johnny Weir, Sarah Wright Olsen, Will Kemp, Kaitlyn Leeb, Amanda Zhou and Mitchell Edwards have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Kaya Scodelario and Evan Roderick.
- Weir - a two-time Olympian and NBC correspondent - will play Gabe, who seems like an easygoing guy but under his funny, laid-back extrerior, he's a cutthroat competitor who will stop at nothing to beat Kat (Scodelario) and Justin (Roderick).
- Olsen (American Made) will play Mandy, Justin's stepmother. Raised in rural Kentucky, she started her own real estate business from scratch. She fell in love with Justin's widower father when she sold him a house and has helped raise his two younger sons.
- Kemp (Reign) will play Mitch, the charming, British "it coach" in the region who has gotten scores of girls into high-level competitions. When he first signs on to be Serena's (Willow Shields) coach, she's sure that she will finally beat her sister.
- Leeb (Shadowhunters) will play Leah, Gabe's skating partner who is as mean as she is beautiful. When she's replaced by Kat as Justin's pairs partner, she makes it her life's mission to take the two of them down.
- Zhou (Blood and Water) will play Jenn, Kat's foul-mouthed best friend who doesn't suffer fools. She is an extremely talented single skater, the daughter of Chinese immigrants who own a successful local sporting goods store, and Serena's main competition.
- Edwards (The Fix) will play Marcus, son of a prominent African-American family and Kat's co-worker at the lodge bar. Besides being a bartender, he also is a gifted skier who is trying to find his place in a predominantly white sport.
SHOWTIME's THE AFFAIR
- Lyriq Bent has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth and final season. He previously starred for four seasons in ABC's Rookie Blue. He also starred in the first seasons of Netflix's She's Gotta Have It and Lifetime's Mary Kills People.
- He will play Paul, the husband of Joanie (Anna Paquin), a sports agent and father of their two daughters. He struggles to keep his wife from falling off the cliff of depression, as they get closer and closer to a terrifying inevitability.
NETFLIX's THE I-LAND
- Clara Wong has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Kate Bosworth, Natalie Martinez and Alex Pettyfer. She has previously recurred on Showtime's Billions, HBO's Vinyl and NBC's The Mysteries of Laura.
- She will play Carol, who is tough, athletic, cruel, with a sardonic sense of humor.
