Amazon has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama Informer - the streaming service's latest series partnership with the BBC.
All six episodes will be released on Friday, January 11.
The drama follows Raza, a young, second generation Pakistani man from East London, who is coerced by Gabe, a Counter-Terrorism officer, to go undercover and inform for him. With a past he is unwilling to expose, Gabe is joined by Holly, his new and ambitious partner whose endless curiosity becomes threatening to him.
The cast includes Nabhaan Rizwan, Paddy Considine, Bel Powley, Jessica Raine, Sharon D. Clarke, Sunetra Sarker and Roger Jean Nsengiyumva.
Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani created the drama. They executive produce with Sam Mendes, Nicolas Brown, Julie Pastor and director Jonny Campbell. Julian Stevens serves as a producer. Neal Street Productions produces.
