Syfy has today decided to cancel its original drama series Z Nation after five season. The December 28 season finale will now serve as the final episode of the drama.
The drama stars Kellita Smith, DJ Qualls, Keith Allan, Anastasia Baranova, Russell Hodgkinson, Nat Zang, Sydney Viengluang, Ramona Young, Natalie Jongjaroenlarp, Grace Phipps, Katy O'Brian, Mario Van Peebles and Lydia Hearst.
Karl Schaefer and Craig Engler created the drama. Schaefer executive produced with David Michael Latt, David Rimawi and Paul Bales. The Asylum produced.
The cancellation comes after Netflix gave an 8-episode series order to the Z Nation prequel Black Summer starring Jaime King.
