ABC has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original comedy series Bless This Mess starring Lake Bell and Dax Shepard.
The 6-episode first season will premiere on Tuesday, April 16 at 9:30/8:30c.
The comedy follows a newlywed couple (Bell, Shepard) who give up their unfulfilling New York City lives for a move to Nebraska. They anticipate the move will bring a simpler life, but that does not go according to plan.
The comedy also stars Ed Begley Jr., JT Neal and Pam Grier. Despite starring in the original pilot, the role played by Christina Offley is being re-conceived and recast.
Bell co-created the comedy with Liz Meriwether. Bell also directed the pilot. They executive produce with Shepard, Katherine Pope, Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar. 20th Century Fox Television and ABC Studios produce.
