Syfy has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of the original drama series Happy!
The 8-episode second season will premiere on Wednesday, March 27 at 10/9c.
In the new season, alcoholic ex-cop turned hit man Nick Sax (Christopher Meloni) and his bizarre imaginary kinda-unicorn-looking pal Happy (voiced by Patton Oswalt) are on the trail of a child kidnapping ring. Or something along those lines - nothing is ever quite what it seems on this show. The villain, by the way, has some nefarious proposition for a bunch of priests to re-brand the Easter holiday.
The drama also stars Patrick Fischler, Ritchie Coster, Lili Mirojnick, Medina Senghore, Bryce Lorenzo and Christopher Fitzgerald.
Grant Morrison and Brian Taylor developed the drama based on the comic book series of the same name. They executive produce with Meloni, showrunner Patrick MacManus, Neal Moritz, Pavun Shetty and Toby Jaffe. Universal Cable Productions and Original Film produce.
