FOX's FILTHY RICH
- Kim Cattrall will play the lead role in and produce the drama pilot written by Tate Taylor. She previously starred for six seasons in HBO's Sex and the City as well as its two follow-up feature films. She recently starred in the first season of CBS All Access' anthology drama Tell Me a Story. Also cast today are Aubrey Dollar, Corey Cott, Benjamin Levy Aguilar and Mark L. Young.
- Cattrall will play Margaret Monroe, the star of a hugely popular lifestyle TV show and the creator of a conservative TV network that she runs with her husband.
- Dollar will play Rose Monroe, Margaret's daughter, a sarcastic but kind-hearted clothing designer who yearns to be real and find her own voice apart from her family.
- Cott will play Eric Monroe, Margaret's son and Rose's brother. Married with two kids, he's the Senior VP of Operations at the conservative Christian Sunshine Network.
- Aguilar will play Antonio Rivera, a tattooed, up-and-coming boxer and single dad who finds himself wondering if a life with his new family in New Orleans might be the best thing for his toddler.
- Young will play Jason Conley, an attractive, loyal young man who runs a weed business at a ranch in Colorado.
NBC's BLUFF CITY LAW
- Jimmy Smits has been cast as the male lead on the drama pilot written by Dean Georgaris. He previously starred for five seasons in NBC's L.A. Law (winning an Emmy Award too), five seasons in ABC's NYPD Blue, two seasons in NBC's The West Wing, two seasons in FX's Sons of Anarchy, one season in Netflix's The Get Down and one season in FOX's 24: Legacy. He has also recurred on Showtime's Dexter and ABC's How to Get Away With Murder.
- He will play Elijah Strait, a legendary defense lawyer from Tennessee who is well-known to all in the Memphis community. He teams with his brilliant daughter, Sydney Keller (Caitlin McGee) to take on the toughest David-and-Goliath cases while navigating their complicated relationship.
HBO's AVENUE 5
- Nikki Amuka-Bird will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Hugh Laurie. She previously starred for two seasons in BBC America's Luther, one season in Cinemax's Quarry and one season in Hulu's Hard Sun.
- She will play Rav Mulcair, head of Judd Mission Control on Earth. She's extremely intelligent but frustrated and exhausted by lack of control. Intense and slightly odd, she is racked with guilt over having sent her two best friends into space in an attempt to fix their failing marriage.
ABC's STUMPTOWN
- Cobie Smulders has booked the lead role on the drama pilot written by Jason Richman. She previously starred for nine seasons in CBS' How I Met Your Mother and two seasons in Netflix's Friends From College. She has also played Maria Hill in seven Marvel feature films - including the upcoming Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
- She will play Dex Parios, a whip-smart, hard-luck heroine you can't help but get behind. Once a decorated Military Intelligence officer overseas, Dex is now back home in Portland, Oregon, unable to hold down a steady job, spinning her wheels, running up gambling debts, waiting for trouble to catch up with her - and so it does.
FOX's UNTITLED TOM KAPINOS PROJECT
- Richard Roxburgh, Madeline Wise and Usman Ally have landed series regular roles on the dramedy pilot starring Andie MacDowell and Kathleen Turner. The pilot marks Roxburgh's first American role. He previously starred for five seasons in the Australian drama Rake. Wise is a relative newcomer. Ally has previously recurred on HBO's Veep, Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events and USA's Suits.
- Roxburgh will play Nigel Valentine, Lily's (MacDowell) ex-husband, a legendary British rock-star who tries to save the world through music and has a weakness for supermodels.
- Wise will play Poppy, the quirky, pessimistic and exceedingly blunt daughter of Nigel and Lily.
- Ally will play Julian, a roguish doctor who doesn't act like one.
FOX's UNTITLED ANNIE WEISMAN PROJECT
- Brittany Snow is set for the lead role on the drama pilot written by Annie Weisman. She stars in the Pitch Perfect film franchise and has previously recurred on The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
- She will play Julia Bechley, an only child whose life is turned upside down when it's revealed that her father, a pioneering Nobel Prize-winning fertility doctor, used his own sperm to conceive dozens of children over the course of his career. Reeling from this explosive revelation, Julia discovers two new sisters - her former best friend and an ex-Olympic athlete. Against all odds, the women attempt to form an untraditional family and lean on each other as they grapple with their own identity crises.
