THE CW's JANE THE NOVELA
- Jacqueline Grace Lopez will play the lead role on the drama pilot written by Valentina Garza. She wrote and produced the 2017 short film The Girl Without Cats. She also had a recurring role on Hulu's East Los High.
- She will play Estela, an up-and-coming art curator who has spent years playing it safe and coloring within the lines. But a shocking secret changes everything and forces her to live a double life.
CBS' TOMMY
- Michael Chernus will co-star on the drama pilot starring Edie Falco. He previously starred for two seasons in WGN America's Manhattan and two seasons in Amazon's Patriot. He has also recurred on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black and Netflix's Easy.
- He will play Ken, the speechwriter for L.A's incoming and first female Chief of Police (Falco). Rumpled, insecure, smart, wry and a little self-deprecating, his job is to channel his boss' inner life and get it all on paper, which is put to the test immediately when tasked to write her swearing-in speech without ever having met her.
NBC's EMERGENCE
- Alexa Skye Swinton is set as the young lead on the drama pilot starring Allison Tolman. Robert Bailey Jr., Clancy Brown and Ashley Aufderheide have also been cast today. Swinton is currently recurring on Showtime's Billions. Bailey Jr. starred for four seasons in NBC's The Night Shift. Brown has been a part of the voice cast of Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants for twenty years. He currently appears on ABC's Schooled and Showtime's Billions. Aufderheide has recurred on AMC's Preacher and NBC's The Slap.
- Swinton will play Piper, an intelligent, curious and a bit mysterious young child who is found by Jo (Tolman) near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened.
- Bailey Jr. will play Chris, an industrious police officer.
- Brown will play Ed, Jo's father, a retired firefighter with a great sense of humor.
- Aufderheide will play Bree, Jo's teenage daughter, who is strong-willed with a sense of humor.
ABC's TRIANGLE
- Mike Vogel has been cast as the male lead in the drama pilot written by Jon Harmon Feldman and Sonny Postiglione. He previously starred for three seasons in CBS' Under the Dome, one season in NBC's The Brave and in the Syfy limited series Childhood's End.
- He will play David Roman, whose life has always been a bit of a roller coaster. He's an orphan who bounced between foster homes growing up. Now hoping to begin a new life with his daughter, Natalie, and fiancé, Alex, their tropical vacation is interrupted by a violent storm that capsizes their boat and lands them in a strange land filled with danger, mystery and no way home.
CBS' THE US PROJECT
- Parker Young has booked a series regular on the comedy pilot (previously The Story of Us) written by Mike Royce. He has previously starred for two seasons in Bravo's Imposters and one season in FOX's Enlisted. He also recurred on ABC's Suburgatory.
- He will play Jared, Morgan's live-in boyfriend. A new jiu jitsu fanatic, he practices constantly in order to excel at his first amateur tournament that's quickly approaching and which he has no chance of winning. He lives on a diet of corn fungus smoothies and occasionally wears a strange "elevation mask" to increase lung capacity and oxygen efficiency - but it also makes him look like Bane. Although he has sweet qualities, he appears to be unaware that his eccentric enthusiasms are driving Morgan away from him.
ABC's UNTITLED HANNAH SIMONE PROJECT
- Alanna Ubach has landed a series regular role on the comedy pilot written by and starring Hannah Simone. She previously starred for three seasons in Nickelodeon's See Dad Run and five seasons in Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. She was also in the voice cast of the Academy Award-winning film Coco.
- She will play Susan, the family's closest friend, filled with confidence and booze and always over-the-top. She can be counted on to say exactly the wrong thing at all times.
FOX's GENIUSES
- Jason Biggs has been tapped as the male lead on the comedy pilot starring Maggie Lawson. He stars in the American Pie film franchise. He also starred in two seasons of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black.
- He will play Mike, the family patriarch who is affable, enthusiastic and not dumb but definitely not cerebral.
FOX's ADAM & EVE
- Odette Annable has scored the female lead role on the comedy pilot written by Jon Beckerman. Furthermore, Claire Scanlon has signed on to direct the pilot. She previously starred for one season in FOX's House and one season in The CW's Supergirl. She recently appeared in the Freeform film No Sleep 'Til Christmas opposite her husband Dave Annable.
- The comedy follows one couple, Adam and Eve (Annable) at three stages of their relationship - young and passionate, middle-aged with kids, and navigating retirement.
FOX's DEPUTY
- Stephen Dorff will star in the drama pilot written by Will Beall. He starred in the third season of HBO's True Detective opposite Mahershala Ali, which concluded this past Sunday. His casting brings him back to FOX following a major recurring role on Star.
- He will play Deputy Bill Hollister, a career lawman who's very comfortable kicking down doors and utterly lost in a staff meeting. When the LA County Sheriff drops dead, Bill becomes acting sheriff of Los Angeles County, in charge of 10,000 sworn deputies policing a modern Wild West.
