FOX continues to lock down its animated comedy lineup. Today, the broadcast network has renewed veteran series Bob's Burgers and Family for a tenth and eighteenth season, respectively. They join The Simpsons on the network's upcoming 2019-20 season.
The renewals come in the midst of a boom in adult animated shows as of late - with Netflix, Amazon, Apple, CBS and more making significant pushes in the genre. FOX is also expanding its efforts in the form having already given series orders to new animated comedies Bless the Harts and Duncanville for next season.
Family Guy features the voices of Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis and Mike Henry.
Bob's Burgers features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, John Roberts and Kristen Schaal.
Both series are produced by 20th Century Fox Television. They remain lucrative properties for the production company which will no longer be associated with Fox Entertainment following the sale of assets to Disney.
