During its presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, AMC announced that the drama series Into the Badlands and The Son will be ending with their upcoming third and second seasons, respectively.
The third season of Into the Badlands will continue with its final eight episodes on Sunday, March 24 at 10/9c. following The Walking Dead. It will then move to its new regular time slot on Monday, March 25 at 10/9c.
The drama stars Daniel Wu, Nick Frost, Aramis Knight, Emily Beecham, Orla Brady, Ally Ioannides, Lorraine Toussaint, Sherman Augustus, Babou Ceesay, Ella-Rae Smith and Lewis Tan.
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar created the drama. They executive produce with Wu, Stacey Sher, Michael Shamberg, David Dobkin, Stephen Fung, Michael Taylor, Karen Richards and Paco Cabezas. AMC Studios produces.
The second season of The Son will premiere on Saturday, April 27 at 9/8c.
The drama stars Pierce Brosnan, Lois Smith, Henry Garrett, Jacob Lofland, Paola Nuñez, Zahn McClarnon, Jess Weixler, David Wilson Barnes, Sydney Lucas, James Parks, Elizabeth Frances, Shane Graham and Kathryn Prescott.
