Ryan Murphy Sets Up New Series 'Hollywood' at Netflix

Prolific series creator Ryan Murphy (Glee, American Horror Story, Pose) has today announced a series order at Netflix for his latest original series - Hollywood. Production is set to begin this summer on the new series though the streaming service hasn't confirmed if it's a drama, comedy or limited series.




In announcing the series on Instagram, Murphy said the show is a "love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown."

Murphy also co-created the series with longtime partner Ian Brennan.

Hollywood marks the third original series Murphy has set up at Netflix following his move to the streaming service. The other two shows are two-season drama Ratched starring Sarah Paulson and hourlong comedy The Politician starring Ben Platt. Both shows are already in production and will likely debut in 2019.
