CBS All Access' Interrogation & Why Women Kill and USA's Queen of the South.
CBS ALL ACCESS' WHY WOMEN KILL
- Kirby Howell-Baptiste has been cast as the third lead on the upcoming dramedy starring Lucy Liu and Ginnifer Goodwin. She starred in the first season of BBC America's Killing Eve and has recently recurred on NBC's The Good Place and HBO's Barry. She next appears in Hulu's revival season of Veronica Mars.
- She will play Taylor. Seen in 2018, she is a fiercely intelligent, kick-ass woman, a lawyer, perfectly in control of her sensitive side when she chooses to display it. She is also very protective of her husband, Eli (Reid Scott), who is content to play beta to her alpha. Described admiringly by him, she is "one hot feminist," driven, impassioned, and very sexy. She's also upfront about being bisexual. She and Eli have an open marriage, which, so far, seems to be working.
USA's QUEEN OF THE SOUTH
- Bailey Chase and David Andrews have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming fourth season. Chase previously starred for three seasons in A&E's Longmire and has recurred on NBC's Chicago P.D. and FOX's 24: Legacy. Andrews has previously recurred on USA's Shooter, TNT's Murder in the First and FX's Justified.
- Chase will play Eddie Brucks, a musician attempting to overcome his personal demons who crosses paths with Teresa (Alice Braga).
- Andrews will play Judge Cecil Lafayette, a member of one of the oldest blue blood families in Louisiana who may prove to be one of the most dangerous adversaries Teresa has ever encountered.
CBS ALL ACCESS' INTERROGATION
- Frank Whaley has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Peter Sarsgaard, David Strathairn and Kyle Gallner. He has previously had recurring roles on Netflix's Luke Cage and Showtime's Ray Donovan.
- He will play a seasoned detective who allows his ambitious young partner (Sarsgaard) to take the lead on a murder case.
