CBS ALL ACCESS' WHY WOMEN KILL
- Alexandra Daddario has been cast on the upcoming drama starring Lucy Liu and Ginnifer Goodwin. She has previously recurred on USA's White Collar, NBC's Parenthood, HBO's True Detective and FX's American Horror Story: Hotel. She also starred in the films San Andreas and Baywatch.
- She will play Jade. Seen in 2018. Stunningly beautiful, also sweet, she is Taylor's lesbian lover, who is extremely grateful to Taylor and Eli (Reid Scott) for letting her stay with them after being stalked by a dangerous ex. A neat freak who cleans compulsively, she impresses Eli who is thrilled to have his slacks and shirts ironed and the house kept in immaculate order. But neither Taylor nor Eli suspect that Jade may be a little crazy.
NETFLIX's INSATIABLE
- Vincent Rodriguez III has booked a recurring role on the dramedy's upcoming second season. He has starred in all four seasons of The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which is coming to an end this spring. He has also appeared on ABC's Designated Survivor and Comedy Central's Another Period.
- No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing.
SHOWTIME's PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS
- Adriana Barraza will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Natalie Dormer and Nathan Lane. She received an Academy Award nomination for her supporting performance in the 2006 film Babel.
- She will play Maria Vega, the powerful matriarch of the Vega family. She will go to any lengths to protect her children from the dangerous world of 1938 social politics, as well as from the chilling supernatural forces invading their lives.
