THE CW's KATY KEENE
- Zane Holtz and Katherine LaNasa have been cast on the drama pilot starring Lucy Hale. Holtz previously starred for three seasons in El Rey's From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. LaNasa starred for two seasons in USA's Satisfaction and two seasons in Bravo's Imposters. She next appears in the upcoming AppleTV+ drama Truth Be Told opposite Octavia Spencer.
- Holtz will play Ko Kelly, a boxer with two goals in life: To fight a welterweight championship in Madison Square Garden, and to marry his longtime girlfriend, Katy Keene (Hale). Born and raised in Queens, he is a humble, protective, salt-of-the-earth guy who makes ends meet as a personal trainer and a bouncer.
- LaNasa will play Gloria Grandbilt, a legendary personal shopper at the luxury department store Lacy's, catering to the rich and famous. Always impeccably dressed and the queen of her domain, she demands a level of excellence from her "girls," young assistants that few can provide.
CBS' THE UNICORN
- Omar Benson Miller and Maya Lynne Robinson have joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Walton Goggins. Miller currently stars in HBO's Ballers, which returns for its fifth season later this year. Robinson starred in the first season of ABC's The Conners.
- Miller will play Ben, another of Wade's (Goggins) well-meaning friends. He is convinced Wade is "going to crush it out there" in the dating world. He is pumped to think that his friend is finally taking the big step.
- Robinson will play Michelle, Ben's wife and the anti-Delia (Michaela Watkins), a super laid-back mother to four kids who kind of have to fend for themselves. Keenly aware that women are already throwing themselves at Wade, she is openly impatient with him when he waffles about trying dating for real.
