HBO Sets Premiere Date for New Drama 'Euphoria' Starring Zendaya

HBO Has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Euphoria starring Zendaya.







The eight-episode first season will premiere on Sunday, June 16 at 10/9c.

Based on an Israeli series, the drama follows a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship.

In addition to Zendaya, the drama stars Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith and Sydney Sweeney.

Sam Levinson wrote all eight episodes. He executive produces with Drake, Future the Prince, Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokady, Gary Lennon and Jim Kleverweis. A24 produces in association with HBO.
