Hulu Renews 'Future Man' for Third and Final Season

Hulu has today renewed its original comedy series Future Man for a third and final season. The new season will produce eight episodes - down from the 13 produced for the first two seasons.

The comedy stars Josh Hutcherson, Eliza Coupe and Derek Wilson.

Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir created the time travel comedy. They executive produce with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Matt Tolmach, James Weaver and Ben Karlin. Sony Pictures Television, Point Grey Pictures, Matt Tolmach Productions and Turkeyfoot Productions produce.

The decision to make the third season the final one comes a day after AMC announced that the upcoming fourth season of its drama Preacher (also produced by Rogen and Goldberg) would be its last. The duo also produce Showtime's Black Monday (which is awaiting word on its future) and Amazon's upcoming drama The Boys (set to launch this summer). They recently moved their production company, Point Grey Pictures, from Sony to Lionsgate with an overall deal for movies and television.
