Amazon has decided to cancel its original superhero comedy series The Tick after two seasons. Series creator Ben Edlund broke the news on Twitter today, while also vowing to hopefully find a new outlet for the show.
The comedy starred Peter Serafinowicz, Griffin Newman, Valorie Curry, Brendan Hines, Yara Martinez and Scott Speiser.
Edlund executive produced with David Fury, Barry Josephson, Wally Pfister and Barry Sonnenfeld. Serafinowicz and Patrick Warburton served as producers. Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures Television and Josephson Entertainment produced.
The 10-episode second season was released on the streaming service on April 5, 2019.
