With the executives at ABC being disappointed with their development season, the network has looked elsewhere for potential projects to fill its schedule. Enter the drama Emergence which shot a pilot for NBC and was produced by ABC Studios. And now, the series has landed an official order at ABC.
A sheriff takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened. The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child's identity is at the center of it all.
The drama stars Allison Tolman, Alexa Skye Swinton, Donald Faison, Owain Yeoman, Robert Bailey Jr., Zabryna Guevara, Ashley Aufderheide and Clancy Brown.
